I had a tour around the Degollado and the building itself is a spectacle from 1856. Theatre had a big renovation ten years ago where they lifted the roof to built up an electric pipe system and a mechanical orchestra pit.
Touristic point of view the trip was a typical gig where you get to see the hotel lobby and the venue. Luckily easy access to the Guadalajara old town invited us to have a few fiestas after the shows. Traditional Mexican Mole is a must to eat, rich in flavour with chocolate and chilis. In the heat I felt relaxing that water was present in numerous fountains around the city parks.
Perfect team from the Compañía made the 57h travel worth it!
