Nine lives premiere

My lighting design on this piece was really simple but an actual illusion arrises with the performers and the music. Precise light fades are supporting the dance and by doing so they give space for the music to create the drama. Music can rule the moment easily but on Nine Lives we managed to make the live performing, lights and music to breath into unison. By doing less I can still do a lot and with the strong performers I love to keep it simple.
